This
‘longhouse’
farmhouse from around 1850, a stone building with a thatched/reed roof is
located in the Lopikerwaard 13 km from Gouda and 35 km from Utrecht. The
landscape is predominantly polder landscapewith extensive meadows, comfort clump
of trees, waterstreams and wooded banks which provides shelter for e.g. many
species of birds. The Lopikerwaard has more than 100 different species of summer
birds. The water meadows near the Lekdijk form part of the river landscape.
